DJI Matice 4D Series currently includes two versions - DJI Matrice 4D and DJI Matrice 4TD.
DJI Matrice 4D is equipped with a 4/3 CMOS 20MP wide-angle camera, a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 48MP medium tele camera, a 1/1.5-inch CMOS 48MP tele camera, and a laser range finder, providing powerful imaging capabilities.
DJI Matrice 4TD is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 48MP wide-angle camera, a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 48MP medium tele camera, a 1/1.5-inch CMOS 48MP tele camera, a infrared thermal camera, an NIR auxiliary light, and a laser range finder. It features powerful thermal imaging and low-light imaging capabilities.

The DJI Matrice 4D Series is C2 and C6 certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Only the 4/3 CMOS wide-angle camera on DJI Matrice 4D supports mapping without GCPs.

DO NOT expose the infrared camera lenses to strong sources of energy such as the sun, lava, or a laser beam. Otherwise, the camera sensor may be burned leading to permanent damage.

The DJI Matrice 4D Series has the following main differences compared to the Matrice 4 Series:
1. Supports IP55 protection rating.
2. Maximum flight time of 54 minutes.
3. Supports greater payload capacity.
4. Supports airborne relay, where one drone can fly high as a relay, addressing signal issues in mountainous terrains.
5. Arms of Matrice 4D Series drones are not foldable.

The DJI Matrice 4D Series drones incorporate rotational dampers at the base of each arm to dampen arm vibration, ensuring reliable, long-time flight in various environments. The arms can rotate at a small angle, and visible gaps at the base of the arms are normal design characteristics.

The anti-icing effectiveness of the propellers decreases with usage over time. Please replace the propellers at least every 12 months or after 500 flight hours.
Do not scratch the surface of the propellers or touch them directly with your fingers. Do not use oil-based or alcohol-based solvents to wipe the propellers, as this may damage the anti-icing layer on the surface.
Each set of propellers is dynamically balanced. When replacing propellers, please use the propellers from the same package and do not mix them with propellers from other packages.
If the propellers become deformed or damaged during use, they need to be replaced promptly. When replacing propellers, be sure to simultaneously replace the corresponding washers and screws. Do not reuse them.

To provide better noise reduction.

Yes, they can link with DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise for manual flight.

After linking two drones with two remote controllers respectively, set the aircraft as the Main Aircraft (operating aircraft) on the DJI Pilot 2 app of the remote controller A, and set the aircraft as the Relay Aircraft on the DJI Pilot 2 app of the remote controller B. Wait for the two drones to automatically re-link. Once the linking is completed, you can check the connection topology status on the main page.

DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery can be charged with DJI Dock 3 and the DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Charging Hub.

The DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Charging Hub supports two charging modes. By toggling the mode switch on the side of the charging hub, you can switch between the charging modes.
Standard Mode: Each battery is charged to 100% in sequence.
Ready-to-Fly Mode: Each battery is charged to 90% in sequence and kept at 90% after charging. This mode facilitates quick use of batteries.

Charging with the DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Charging Hub:
In Standard Mode, it takes approximately 40 minutes to fully charge one DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery from 15%.
In Ready-to-Fly Mode, it takes approximately 30 minutes to charge one DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery from 15% to 90%.

Charging with DJI Dock 3:
In Standard Mode, it takes approximately 37 minutes to fully charge one DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery from 15%.
In Ready-to-Fly Mode, it takes approximately 27 minutes to charge one DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery from 15% to 95%.

Yes, you can connect the charging hub to the SDC port of the power station for charging. The DJI Power series power station must be updated to the latest firmware.

DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery can work in the operating environment from -20° to 45° C (-4° to 113° F). The battery life will be shortened when used in low-temperature environments. Please schedule the flight time properly.

For mounting parachute and other payloads.

Used with designated DJI aircraft and Dock, it can be set up at a high location as a relay to address signal obstruction issues.

It can be activated on the the DJI Enterprise app or by connecting its Type-C port to DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) using a cable.

After replacing the aircraft, re-link the aircraft with DJI Dock to restore the connection with the relay station.
To replace the dock, re-link the relay station and the dock.

When the cable distance between the relay station and the dock is less than 100 meters, it is recommended to power the PoE module by directly connecting it to the PoE output port of DJI Dock 3 via an Ethernet cable.
When the cable distance between the relay station and DJI Dock is greater than 100 meters, an additional PoE power supply needs to be purchased for separate power supply*.

The D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version only supports relay station mode and is mainly used for fixed deployment of DJI Dock 3.
The D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station supports relay station, base station, and mobile station modes, and can work with various DJI drones.

It can work with DJI Dock 3 and Matrice 4D Series drones.

You can use the Matrice 4D Series aircraft and the remote controller to conduct site evaluation and selection at the intended relay deployment location based on the DJI Pilot 2 app instructions, and deploy the relay station according to the site selection results.

Yes, when used as a relay station for DJI Dock 3, the aircraft will check the RTK data quality of both DJI Dock 3 and the relay station, selecting the data source to ensure reliable positioning.

The relay station has a built-in backup battery, allowing it to continue working for a while after a power outage. Please troubleshoot and restore power supply promptly.

DJI Enterprise app.

It is recommended to deploy within 1 kilometer of the dock, maintaining a clear line of sight between DJI Dock 3 and the relay station, with no obstructions or interference.

In unobstructed and interference-free conditions, the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version can extend the video transmission range up to 25 km.

The spotlight and speaker can be used independently or in combination, meeting the needs of more operational scenarios.

DJI Matrice 4D Series and DJI Matrice 4 Series aircraft.

^{When installed on DJI Matrice 4D Series aircraft, the bottom bracket must be removed.}

Remove the bottom bracket of the speaker.
Install the speaker before turning on the aircraft. Do not install the speaker while the aircraft is powered on.
When installing onto the aircraft, tighten the screws and ensure proper sealing of the interface. When using with DJI Dock, use the included hex key to tighten the screws again.
After installation, connect to the internet to activate the speaker and calibrate compass as instructed. If there is a firmware update notification, update to the latest firmware promptly.

Please pay attention to the following when using the speaker:
1. After installing the speaker, the aircraft's power performance and flight time will be affected. Please pay attention to flight safety.
2. Use the standard remote controller to play human voices for optimal sound effect. It is not recommended to play single-frequency sounds to avoid irreversible damage to the speaker.
3. DO NOT use the speaker near people or in an urban area where noise-sensitive structures are concentrated, as the loudness could lead to accidents or injuries.

Currently only supports English and Mandarin Chinese.

When speaking, stay close to the microphone of the remote controller or computer, and try to maintain a steady speaking pace.

It supports shortcuts to start/stop real-time broadcasting. You can set the shortcuts in Customize RC Buttons on the DJI Pilot 2 app for quick operation during tasks.

Install the speaker on the aircraft, and it will be updated along with the aircraft firmware. There are four ways to update the firmware:
1. Perform a one-click update on the device management page of DJI FlightHub 2.
2. Connect the aircraft to a computer and use the DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) to update.
3. Tap firmware update on the main interface of the DJI Pilot 2 app.
4. When the DJI Pilot 2 app prompts for a consistent update for all modules, confirm the update.

The DJI AL1 Spotlight supports two lighting modes: constant and strobe; it also supports enabling and disabling the gimbal follow function*.
The spotlight and speaker can be used independently or in combination, meeting the needs of more operational scenarios.
The new wide FOV lighting mode can illuminate a broader area in wide-angle mode*.

DJI Matrice 4D Series and DJI Matrice 4 Series drones.

Use tools to remove the bracket at the bottom of the spotlight.
Install the spotlight before turning on the aircraft. Do not install the spotlight while the aircraft is powered on.
Ensure the screws are tightened when installing onto the aircraft to secure the installation. When using with DJI Dock, use the included hex key to tighten the screws again.
After installation, connect to the internet to activate the spotlight as instructed. If there is a firmware update notification, update to the latest firmware promptly.

Please pay attention to the following when using the spotlight:
1. After installing the spotlight, the upward obstacle avoidance of the aircraft will be disabled, and the power performance and flight time will be affected. When the spotlight is turned on, the obstacle avoidance function will deactivate automatically. Please pay attention to flight safety.
2. DO NOT point the spotlight directly at people’s eyes to avoid causing eye damage.
3. The spotlight may become hot after prolonged operation. Please be careful to avoid burns.

When using the spotlight during high-altitude flights, the presence of water vapor and particulates in the atmosphere may cause the image to appear white. It is recommended to enable the electronic defogging function* for better image quality.
It is recommended to appropriately reduce the brightness of the spotlight and turn it on as needed to minimize the impact on the aircraft's flight time.

^{* This feature is currently only supported by the DJI Pilot 2 app.}

In the spotlight settings, you can choose to disable the gimbal follow function.
Please note that once disabled, the spotlight will maintain its current angle; when re-enabled, the spotlight will automatically adjust to align with the gimbal's orientation. The gimbal follow function will remain enabled by default after the aircraft restarts.

In the app's spotlight settings, turn on the wide FOV lighting mode to increase the illumination range. When activated, the illumination range is extended by offsetting the gimbals on both sides. This feature is linked to the camera zoom ratio and is only effective with the wide-angle camera and 1X zoom.

It supports shortcuts to turn on/off/ strobe. You can set the shortcuts in Customize RC Buttons on the DJI Pilot 2 app for quick operation during tasks.

Install the spotlight on the aircraft, and it will be updated along with the aircraft firmware. There are four ways to update the firmware:
1. Perform a one-click update on the device management page of DJI FlightHub 2.
2. Connect the aircraft to a computer and use the DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) to update.
3. Tap firmware update on the main interface of the DJI Pilot 2 app.
4. When the DJI Pilot 2 app prompts for a consistent update for all modules, confirm the update.

When using the loudspeaker and spotlight as a combined unit, please remove the bottom adapter bracket of the loudspeaker and spotlight, install the loudspeaker onto the top interface of the spotlight, and tighten the screws.

1. The products may be damaged or malfunction upon impact. DO NOT drop the product.
2. The aircraft can be directly stored in the safety case with the spotlight installed.

DJI Matrice 4D Series and DJI Matrice 4 Series drones.

^{When installed on the Matrice 4 Series drones, a bracket needs to be installed at the bottom of the Obstacle Sensing Module.}

Tighten the screws and ensure proper sealing of the interface. When using with DJI Dock, please use the included hex key to tighten the screws again.
When using with DJI Dock, please correctly attach the LiDAR positioning label on the dock cover as instructed in the manual.
Please complete the installation of the Obstacle Sensing Module accessories before turning on the aircraft. Do not install the Obstacle Sensing Module accessories while the aircraft is powered on.
After installation, connect to the internet and activate the Obstacle Sensing Module as prompted. If there is a firmware update prompt, please update to the latest firmware in a timely manner.

Please keep the radar dome clean to avoid affecting the obstacle avoidance performance.

^{Rain, snow, fog, and dust can affect obstacle avoidance performance. Due to the limitations of the safety system, the aircraft cannot actively avoid fast-moving objects. Please fly with caution and take manual control if necessary.}

Install the Obstacle Sensing Module on the aircraft, and it will be updated along with the aircraft firmware. There are four ways to upgrade the firmware:
1. Perform a one-click update on the device management page of DJI FlightHub 2.
2. Connect the aircraft to a computer and use the DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) to update.
3. Tap firmware update on the main interface of the DJI Pilot 2 app.
4. When the DJI Pilot 2 app prompts for a consistent update for all modules, confirm the update.

Before installation or connecting/disconnecting device cables, first power off the dock.
Do not press the dock cover forcefully during installation. Ensure the bracket is installed as shown in the diagram. Do not install it in reverse.
Use the correct screws as shown in the diagram, and ensure all screws are tightened.
Do not place installation tools on the landing pad at any time. Before closing the dock cover, ensure the landing pad surface is free of foreign objects and dirt.
Please attach the included reminder sticker onto the cockpit's control panel.

Continuous operation of the aircraft: At an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F), with continuous operation of the aircraft and the dock's air conditioning set to cooling, the operating time is 2 to 3 hours.
Dock and aircraft standby: At an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F), with the air conditioning in idle mode, it can last 7 to 8 hours.

DJI Matrice 4TD supports smart oblique capture in the oblique collection function of the area route.

The DJI Matrice 4D Series aircraft features 5-direction smart oblique capture, which allows data collection to be completed with just one route. In contrast, the DJI Mavic 3E features 3-direction smart oblique capture, requiring two routes to complete data collection.

Both the DJI Matrice 4D Series and the Zenmuse P1 feature 5-direction smart oblique capture. However, the DJI Matrice 4D Series' smart oblique capture is in an "X" shape, while the Zenmuse P1's smart oblique capture is in a "+" shape.

DJI Matrice 4D supports precise mapping after enabling the RTK function.
Equipping DJI Matrice 4TD with the RTK module can’t guarantee the final precision.
