DJI Modify
Shaping the World
Shaping the World
DJI Modify is DJI’s first intelligent 3D model editing software. It features a streamlined and intuitive interface that makes it simple to complete model editing efficiently. Paired with a DJI Enterprise drone and DJI Terra, it forms a comprehensive solution from aerial surveying, modeling, and model editing to sharing these models easily to meet operational needs in surveying and mapping, firefighting, emergency response, and transportation.
In a DJI Terra 3D modeling project, you can launch DJI Modify with one click for model editing for an efficient workflow and an end-to-end solution from modeling to model editing. In DJI Terra, enable the DJI Modify switch, and files for model editing will be automatically generated, including pre-identified objects and pre-processing of the model, so that you can complete model editing efficiently.
DJI Modify renders and exports models rapidly in many formats, such as ply, obj, and b3dm, which are compatible with DJI Terra and third-party software. Processed models can be quickly shared to the cloud, so others can view them online on the web or mobile via shared links without installing any software.
1. In a DJI Terra 3D modeling project, you can launch DJI Modify with one click for model editing. DJI Terra also supports the output of a DJI Modify project file for a seamless workflow.
2. Auto repair supports flattening, texture editing, floating parts removal, and hole fill. Batch repair is supported for floating parts removal and hole filling.
3. This function will be available in Q2 of 2024. Please stay tuned for relevant updates from DJI.
a. Requires a Windows 10 or higher (64-bit) operating system with at least 32 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA graphics card with a computing capability of 5.0 or higher, and at least 4 GB of GPU memory. A graphics card equivalent to or better than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti is recommended.
b. DJI Modify can only edit visible light 3D models reconstructed with DJI Terra V4.0.0 or higher.
c. It is recommended to use DJI Terra's block splitting function and customize the edge lengths up to 300×300 m.
d. A network license requires a constant internet connection during the operation.
e. The custom coordinate system, custom elevation, and seven-parameter transformation are currently unsupported.
4. During the Beta testing period of point cloud editing, both the free trial license from the official website and the DJI Modify Standard Edition license can be used to access the point cloud editing feature for free.
5. Currently, automatic point cloud classification only supports ground point classification.
